Tomoegawa Co., Ltd. (TSE:3878) agreed to acquire additional 25.2% stake in SHOEI Printing Co., Ltd. from Sakae Technical Paper Co., Ltd., Too Shoji Co., Ltd, Ozawa Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and other individual shareholders for approximately ¥160 million on March 27, 2020. Upon completion, Tomoegawa Co., Ltd. will hold 0.46 million shares representing 29.61% stake in SHOEI Printing Co., Ltd. For the year ended March 2019, SHOEI Printing reported net assets of ¥2.9 billion, total assets of ¥8.3 billion, sales of ¥5.3 billion, operating income of ¥8 million, net loss of ¥183 million. The transaction was resolved by the board of director of Tomoegawa on March 27, 2020. The transaction is expected to be completed on March 30, 2020.
