MILAN, May 10 (Reuters) - Italy's Mediobanca said on Friday it would pay 421 million euros as an interim dividend this month after beating estimates for its third-quarter results.

Net profit for the January-March period came in at 335 million euros ($360.93 million), above the 300-million-euro consensus of analysts gathered by the bank and up 42% year-on-year.

The bank, whose financial year runs from July to June, posted revenues of 898 million euros, up 18% compared to the previous year and above an analysts' consensus of 880 million euros.

Mediobanca said in a statement that it expects for the full year double-digit growth in earnings per share and dividends, revenues of 3.5 billion euros, with net interest income up 10%.
