SolidWorld receives EUR700,000 order from French luxury brand

(Alliance News) - SolidWorld Group Spa has announced that it has launched Leatherworks, the first Artificial Intelligence application developed in-house to revolutionize the design of leather accessories, onto the market.

By 2024, the "Made in Italy" Leatherworks software will be used for the first time by one of France's leading luxury handbag manufacturers, which purchased it for EUR700,000.

Starting from the designer's drawing, the innovative CAD3D-AI Leatherworks software is able to generate, automatically and in a very short time, an infinite number of 3D models of leather bags and accessories according to the technical and style parameters entered, the company explained in a note.

"Leatherworks is just the first in a long series of applications based on artificial intelligence and our extensive expertise in CAD-3D that we intend to propose to our corporate clients to speed up and improve the creation of new products," said Roberto Rizzo, president and CEO of SolidWorld Group.
