ERAMET S.A. announced sales results for the third quarter and first nine months of fiscal 2018. For the quarter, the company announced sales of EUR 951 million compared to EUR 878 million for the same period a year ago. Growth in sales was partly offset by operational difficulties which resulted in a decrease in manganese ore and ferronickel volumes sold, as well as by lower sales in some sectors in the Alloys division.

For the first nine months, the company announced sales of EUR 2,764 million compared to EUR 2,674 million for the same period a year ago.

For the quarter, the company announced Manganese ore and sinter production was 1,212,000 tonnes compared to 1,146,000 tonnes for the same period a year ago. Manganese alloys production was 182,000 tonnes compared to 177,000 tonnes for the same period a year ago. Heavy mineral concentrate production was 200,000 tonnes compared to 196,000 tonnes for the same period a year ago.

For the first nine months, the company announced Manganese ore and sinter production was 3,207,000 tonnes compared to 3,079,000 tonnes for the same period a year ago. Manganese alloys production was 539,000 tonnes compared to 539,000 tonnes for the same period a year ago. Heavy mineral concentrate production was 575,000 tonnes compared to 541,000 tonnes for the same period a year ago.

For 2018, the company is targeting a level of performance in terms of EBITDA approximately on par with 2017.
