URA Holdings plc is a United Kingdom-based gemstone mining company focused on the restart of production at the Gravelotte Emerald Mine (GEM). Its 74%-owned Gravelotte project is located in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. Gravelotte is owned via Gem Venus Holdings Pty Limited, which owns 74% of ADIT Mining (Proprietary) Limited (ADIT) and Venus Emerald (Proprietary) Limited (Venus), which hold all the mineral rights in respect of emerald mining and extraction at Gravelotte. The Company’s subsidiary, Malaika Exploration Limited, owns two large-scale exploration licenses covering 1,284 square kilometers (km2) in northeast Zambia. Its licenses include prospectively viable quantities of high-grade graphite, coltan (containing niobium and tantalum), lithium, and rare earth elements (REEs).
