On May 1, 2024, The Organization United for Respect has filed an exempt solicitation statement and urged the shareholders of The Walmart Inc to vote for the proposal and conduct a 3rd-party, independent racial equity audit analyzing Company?s adverse impacts on Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) communities, and to provide recommendations for improving the company?s racial equity impact. In addition, the Company recommended the shareholders to vote against the shareholder proposal at the annual meeting of shareholders scheduled to be held on June 5, 2024.
