(Alliance News) - Acinque Spa on Monday reported that it closed the first quarter with a net profit of EUR10.5 million, up from EUR5.6 million as of March 31, 2023.

Total consolidated sales revenues in the quarter amounted to EUR180.2 million from EUR229.6 million, mainly due to the decline in commodity prices related to the downturn in the energy scenario although not yet at pre-crisis levels that began in 2021, the company explained in a note.

Ebitda during the period stood at EUR36.3 million from EUR22.9 million in 2023, while Ebit was EUR22.4 million from EUR10.8 million.

Capital expenditures amounted to EUR11.0 million from EUR11.9 million in 2023.

Net financial debt was EUR229.3 million from EUR257.9 million as of Dec. 31, 2023.

Acinque trades up 0.5 percent at EUR2.06 per share.
