Volkswagen AG reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2024. For the first quarter, the company reported sales was EUR 60,725 million compared to EUR 63,462 million a year ago. Net income was EUR 3,429 million compared to EUR 4,347 million a year ago.

The Automotive Division comprises the Passenger Cars, Commercial Vehicles and Power Engineering business areas. This division focuses on the development of vehicles, engines and vehicle software, the production and sale of passenger cars, light commercial vehicles, trucks, buses, and motorcycles, as well as businesses for genuine parts, large-bore diesel engines, turbomachinery, and propulsion components.
