On May 1, Southwest Airlines and AULANI, A Disney Resort and Spa located on Oahu, teamed up to host a Lei Day celebration for Customers onboard a Los Angeles-Honolulu flight. Lei Day is a Hawaiian tradition to honor the symbol of aloha-the lei. The aircraft for this flight was Imua One, the Southwest plane dedicated to the people and communities in Hawaii.

Southwest Customers were serenaded with a gate area ukulele performance by Disney Ambassador, Dylan Rogers, who performed "Aulani Hula;" received kukui nut lei and Mickey Mouse ears as they boarded their flight; and enjoyed an AULANI-themed Krispie treat while inflight. Upon landing in Honolulu, local Southwest Employees welcomed the plane with floral lei, dancers, local music, and heartfelt aloha-a truly unforgettable arrival for this special Lei Day celebration!

Now, Southwest, in celebration of the fifth anniversary of service to Hawaii, is offering Disney fans and travelers a chance to win a vacation package to experience magic at AULANI, A Disney Resort and Spa! This package includes airfare on Southwest to Honolulu for a winner and three guests, hotel room accommodations for four nights, ground transfers between the Honolulu airport and AULANI, a $200 AULANI resort credit, and preferred seating at the KA WA'A luau.
