(Alliance News) - Nusco Spa reported Monday that it closed the first quarter with revenues of EUR12.3 million, up 11 percent from EUR11.1 million in the same period last year.

Of the total first quarter revenues, EUR4.3 million was generated by Pinum Doors & Windows Srl.

"Revenues in the first quarter of 2024, in continuity with the results achieved in fiscal year 2023, saw the strategy of diversification and customization of the commercial offer as one of the main key points of growth. The increase in sales volumes was recorded, in particular, in the department of pvc windows and doors, aluminum products in general, and in the entire line of security-related iron windows and doors, such as gratings, shutters, and combinations," the company explained.

"In addition, interest and investment in high-tech products has grown significantly, with the introduction of high-performance projects both in terms of energy efficiency and the quality of materials used."

The group's order backlog as of March 31 was in line with the previous quarter and amounted to about EUR12.3 million, of which EUR5.5 million came from Pinum Doors & Windows activities.

Nusco's stock closed Monday up 4.2 percent at EUR0.95 per share.
