BlackRock, acting on behalf of clients and funds, has declared to the AMF that on May 2 it crossed below the threshold of 5% of Carrefour's voting rights and now holds 6.23% of the capital and 4.98% of the voting rights of the French retail giant.

The American asset management behemoth stated that this threshold crossing was the result of an off-market and on-market sale of Carrefour shares and a reduction in the number of shares held as collateral.
