Veracity Management Global, Inc. announced the appointment of Stephen J. Gorton as Vice President of Technology. In addition, Mr. Gorton has licensed two of his technologies to the company. The first system Mr. Gorton advanced was the development of a technology to grow food plants, turf grasses and trees using less water. This technology uses a liquid by-product of a hydrogen fuel cell process where the end-product is a solution that contains solubilized ions of manganese, magnesium, and iron in an elemental dissolved state. The fuel cell creates the liquid containing elemental manganese, magnesium, and iron by a controlled safe reaction. The by-product of hydrogen is released and not stored. The end-product, a charged solution, holds an ionic charge that when applied to soils, retains the charge. The resulting charge balance in the soil allows a plant's root system to uptake nutrients and water more efficiently. The second system Mr. Gorton advanced was process to make clean coal and increase its commercial value. Using Mr. Gorton's technology, coal burns cleaner and at a higher BTU value. This invention is a front-end technology where coal is cleaned and chemically processed, and a percent of ash, dirt, and sulfur is removed. This technology makes gob coal, or low value coal, more valuable to commercial industry.
