The next key steps in the integration of Credit Suisse by UBS are the merger of UBS AG and Credit Suisse AG on May 31, 2024, and the transition to a single intermediate holding company in the USA in June.

In this context, UBS announces changes in its Group Executive Committee, effective July 1, 2024 (unless otherwise indicated):
Thus, Iqbal Khan will become President of UBS Asia-Pacific from September 1, 2024 and Co-President GWM, based in Asia.

Rob Karofsky will be appointed President of UBS Americas and Co-President GWM.
George Athanasopoulos and Marco Valla will be Co-Presidents of Investment Banking.

Damian Vogel will be appointed Group Chief Risk Officer, succeeding Christian Bluhm.

Stefan Seiler will see his responsibilities extended to include Group Communications and Brand.

Ulrich Körner, CEO of Credit Suisse AG, will leave GEB at the end of June and retire later this year.

Edmund Koh will become Regional President Asia-Pacific from September 1, 2024.

Finally, UBS reports that Naureen Hassan will retire from UBS on July 1, 2024.
