SHELF DRILLING ANNOUNCES NORWAY OPERATIONS UPDATE

Dubai, June 3, 2024 - Shelf Drilling, Ltd. ("Shelf Drilling" or the "Company",
OSE: SHLF) announced today that a subsidiary of Shelf Drilling (North Sea), Ltd.
("Shelf Drilling North Sea" or "SDNS") has received notice from Havtil
(Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority) that its application for an Acknowledgement
of Compliance (AoC) for the Shelf Drilling Barsk jack-up rig has not been
accepted. The Shelf Drilling Barsk rig can only commence its contract in Norway
(announced April 28, 2023) once the AoC has been obtained. Shelf Drilling
intends to continue constructive dialogue with Havtil in order to obtain the AoC
and commence the announced drilling contract. A further update on the AoC
process will be provided in due course.
