SEWON E&C CO., Ltd. reported earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2022. For the second quarter, the company reported sales was KRW 28,503.08 million compared to KRW 19,304.41 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 3,391.4 million compared to KRW 3,617.94 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 110 compared to KRW 175 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 100 compared to KRW 175 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 110 compared to KRW 350 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was KRW 100.
For the six months, sales was KRW 52,929.77 million compared to KRW 40,963.62 million a year ago. Net income was KRW 987.86 million compared to KRW 7,253.56 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 35 compared to KRW 257.5 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was KRW 25 compared to KRW 257.5 a year ago. Basic earnings per share was KRW 35 compared to KRW 515 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was KRW 25.
Sewon E&C Co Ltd, formerly Sewon Cellontech Co Ltd, is a Korea-based company principally engaged in the manufacture and sale of process equipment. The Company operates its business through three segments. The Process Equipment Business segment is engaged in the design and manufacture of process equipment such as heat exchangers and reactors, among others. This segmentâs products are used in petrochemicals, oil and gas, power generation, among others. The Power Limb Business segment produces and supplies power limb such as pumps, valves, cylinders and others. This segmentâs products are used in automobile equipment, machine tools and steel equipment, among others. The Other Business segment manufactures glass lining equipment, centrifuges and others.
