Samsung is launching a smartwatch in its FE range for the first time. This is about a line of products where the price-quality ratio is paramount. Such is the case with the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, an affordable smartwatch where the focus is on comprehensive health features.

Since Samsung launched the very first Galaxy Watch in 2018, the company has released quite a few smartwatches. These include standard models, as well as slightly more robust Active variants. In addition, there are also some Pro or Classic versions, which use a different material as a casing.

With the first Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, Samsung is further expanding its range of smartwatches. In its own words, the company thus aims to "make health and fitness monitoring available to as many people as possible worldwide." In doing so, they want to "help them improve their health and achieve goals."

What can we expect from the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE?

  • Tips: The smartwatch will send - if you want - personalized and actionable tips 24 hours a day.
  • Sleep: Sleep patterns are monitored to provide sleep coaching.
  • Heart rate: Abnormalities such as abnormally high or low heart rates, Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification (IHRN) and atrial fibrillation (Afib) are all noted.
  • Health: You can also monitor blood pressure and ECG.
  • Running: The Watch FE features 100 different workouts, each time tracking your progress. Thanks to Personalized Heart Rate Zone, you can set personalized goals. Advanced running analysis also helps you run better and more efficiently while also avoiding injuries.
  • Goals: Depending on your health goals, you will be shown personalized and motivational messages.

Availability and price.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE will be available worldwide during the summer. As a color, you can choose between Black, Pink Gold and Silver, while the strap is decorated with blue and orange stitching as standard. However, you can easily change the watch band by another one.

Nothing has been announced about the price of the Watch FE for now. However, we can assume that the device will be cheaper than Samsung's other smartwatches.
