HUDSON, MA., January 21, 2013 - Corero Network Security, a leading provider of First Line of Defense product and services including Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Defense protection today announced that building on continued market momentum  and in order to position the business for its next phase of channel led-sales growth,  long time IT industry executive and Internet technology entrepreneur Ashley Stephenson has been named Chief Executive Officer (CEO).

Stephenson, who joined Corero Network Security in March 2012 as Executive Vice President of product management and strategy, has been appointed to drive continued expansion.

Marty Meyer, who has led the company since August, 2011, will assume the role of President, where he will work in tandem with Stephenson to ensure Corero's continued worldwide growth.
