Buzzi buys more than 183,000 treasury shares for EUR7 million

(Alliance News) - Buzzi Spa reported Monday that it purchased 183,907 of its own ordinary shares between June 17 and June 21.

The shares were taken over at an average unit price of EUR37.8126, for a total consideration of EUR7.0 million.

As of today, the company holds 8.7 million of its own ordinary shares, or 5.0 percent of its share capital.

Buzzi rises 0.9 percent to EUR37.42 per share.

Buzzi SpA, formerly known as Buzzi Unicem SpA, is an Italy-based company engaged in the manufacture of construction materials. The Company is primarily active in the production, distribution, and sale of cement, ready-mix concrete, and natural aggregates. The Companyâs operations are located in Italy, the United States, Germany, Luxembourg and the Netherlands, Poland, the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Ukraine, Russia, Mexico, Brazil, and Algeria.
