Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PHAPi) Delegation Visits ASUS
ASUS seeks global expansion opportunities and its smart healthcare solutions continue to impress in the ASEAN region
- The Private Hospitals Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PHAPi) visited the ASUS headquarters and its 5G AI Co-Lab at the ASUS AI Cloud Innovation Cernter
- Many overseas organizations, particularly from Southeast Asia, have shown great interest in the smart medical achievements from ASUS

PHAPi's visit to Taiwan was organized by Healthcare+ B2B, a global procurement network from the Taiwanese Research Center for Biotechnology and Medicine Policy. In addition to their visit to ASUS, they also visited NTU Hospital.
ASUS has years of experience working on smart healthcare and has the advantage of highly integrated software and hardware products and services, along with the high-performance computing power of its TWS AIHPC supercomputer.

"All of this helps hospitals to fulfill the needs of digital transformation in the post-pandemic era. Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, and the Philippines have shown great interest in ASUS smart medical achievements," said Peter Wu, CEO of ASUS Cloud and Taiwan Web Service (TWS). "We look forward to further collaboration with potential partners in the future to promote the export of Taiwan's medical industry."
Cutting-edge ASUS products and servicesBefore their visit, PHAPi had already gained some knowledge from Healthcare+ B2B about the smart healthcare products that ASUS provides. During their visit to ASUS, the PHAPi delegation was able to gain even greater insight into the company's progress in the medical field. This included learning about the practical applications for frontline medical work of the cutting-edge ASUS xHIS Platform and the Lumos Real-World Data Platform, which were both developed by ASUS Intelligent Cloud Services (AICS). They also learnt more about the advantages of ASUS VivoWatch 5 and ASUS VivoWatch 5 AERO, the world's first pulse index health wristbands. The visit concluded with a trip to the 5G AI Co-Lab at the ASUS AI Cloud Innovation Center so that the group could learn more about the full range of 5G private network services and applications the company offers.
Looking forward to a smarter, healthier futureAs Taiwan hospitals' New Southbound Policy progresses, many representatives from ASEAN countries have expressed great interest in the country's smart healthcare systems. "With Taiwan's technological prowess, it is becoming increasingly easy to envision the next generation of hospitals," explained Chinhui Shen, Director of the Research Center for Biotechnology and Medicine Policy. "We will continue to support companies with matchmaking services provided through the global procurement network of Healthcare+ B2B to accelerate the promotion of ASEAN markets."
Building on the ideas of Director Shen, Dr. Jose Rene de Grano, president of San Juan Doctors Hospital. said, "Taiwan's smart healthcare achievements are amazing, both in terms of the actual battlefield and the back-end infrastructure, and are a much-needed boost to the digital transformation of healthcare.
