Aerocast Inc. : Aerocast Produces Castings for Boeing 787 Dreamliner Accessory Gearbox

January 3, 2012: Aerocast Inc. (CNSX: A; Frankfurt Stock Exchange: 0AE; ) is pleased to announce that the company has been awarded two aluminum casting programs from Hamilton Sundstrand that will be used on the accessory gearbox for the Boeing 787 Dreamliner. The accessory gearbox is part of the Rolls Royce Trent 1000 engine assembly.

About the Boeing 787 Dreamliner

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner is a twin-engine, mid-size wide body, long-range jet airliner developed by Boeing. The 787 is the world's first jet airliner built using composite materials for most of its construction. The new airliner will save approximately 20% on fuel costs. Fifty-seven customers around the world have ordered a total of 866 Boeing 787 Dreamliners since the program was launched in 2004. Boeing estimates that it will build about 3,310 Dreamliners through 2028.
