TRISTAR GOLD, INC. AMENDED NOTICE OF CHANGE IN FINANCIAL YEAR-END PURSUANT TO SECTION 4.8 OF NATIONAL INSTRUMENT 51-102 - CONTINUOUS DISCLOSURE OBLIGATIONS (THE "INSTRUMENT") 1. Change of Financial Year-End

The Board of Directors of TriStar Gold, Inc. (the "Reporting Issuer") has decided to change its financial year end from January 31 to December 31. The next financial year-end of the Reporting Issuer will occur on December 31, 2011.

2. Reason for the Change

The Reporting Issuer would like to synchronize its financial reporting with that of its subsidiaries, which use a December 31 financial year end.
