Dacotah Banks : Bank Provides Funding for Scholarships in 2018

In a continuing effort to help students pursue their goals of a higher education, Dacotah Bank reminds parents and school counselors of their continuing scholarship opportunity at all Dacotah Banks.

Scholarships may be applied for by any public, private, and home schooled graduating high school senior student whose immediate family is a customer of the company. The student or their immediate family must be a primary or secondary owner on a deposit account, a primary owner or co-borrower on a loan account, a primary owner of an insurance policy, or someone who has an agency agreement with the Trust and Wealth Management department.

Applications are available at any local Dacotah Bank and online at dacotahbank.com. The applications must be postmarked by Wednesday, March 7, 2018 to be considered. For the eighteenth consecutive year, Dacotah Bank has agreed to match South Dakota Bankers Foundation funds to provide scholarships to graduating high school seniors in local communities who plan to attend a South Dakota post-secondary institution of higher learning. Dacotah Bank will also be awarding scholarships to students attending a post-secondary institution of higher learning, not limited to the state of South Dakota. Company-wide, Dacotah Bank will be granting $32,000 in total scholarships. Recipients of the 2018 scholarships will be announced in the spring.
