Ms. Kang joined Brightwood in May 2011 and is responsible for overseeing the investor relations functions of the firm.
Prior to joining Brightwood, she was a founding member of Ironbound Capital Management and director of marketing and investors relations for its $1 billion hedge fund.
Before Ironbound, Ms. Kang headed institutional sales desks responsible for all North American distribution of Asian/Japanese equities at Citigroup, Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch.
She began her career as an auditor for Price Waterhouse Coopers and Bristol Myers Squibb.
Ms. Kang received an MBA in Finance from Columbia Graduate School of Business and a BBA in Accounting from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
