Mr. Ginsberg joined IFS in 2009.
Prior to joining the company, he was the Director, US Pension Funds for Johnson & Johnson.
He was responsible for developing and implementing strategies for the management of the company’s US Defined Benefit ($6 Billion) and Defined Contribution ($7 Billion) plans, including the selection and oversight of investment managers and operational risks associated with a master trust holding commingled assets of multiple DB and DC plans.
In addition, he managed the DC plans’ $1 Billion stable value fund.
Prior to that, Mr. Ginsberg worked at HSBC Investments (USA) managing the research staff of the Multimanager team and the relationships with both internal and external clients including pension plans.
He also worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York in various roles providing country risk assessment, capital markets analysis and insurance analysis.
He also served as Senior Investment Analyst for the Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution plans the Federal Reserve maintains for its employees.
Mr. Ginsberg graduated cum laude from SUNY Buffalo with both Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees in Economics and Accounting, respectively.
He earned his MBA in Finance from the Zicklin School at Baruch College.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the NYSSA.
