Patrick Ciganer

Prior to joining In-Q-Tel, Mr. Ciganer has held senior operational and financial positions in both government and the private sector, including, prior to his last assignment at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA), Program Executive Officer in the Office of the Administrator at NASA, where he oversaw the development and implementation of an Agency-wide integrated enterprise management system (IEMP).
Before his appointment at NASA in 2002, he was Chief Financial Officer of Mobileway (now part of Sybase), a wireless data communication and management company with operations in Europe, South East Asia and the US.
Over the past two decades, he has also been responsible for managing the deployment and operation of wide-area data collection and analysis networks and distributed remote sensing and communication systems.
Mr. Ciganer earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Georgetown University, and pursued his Graduate studies in Finance at San Francisco State University.
