Matthew Kuhns

Matthew serves as a Director in Research.
As the head of the Investment Research Team, Matthew oversees all aspects of investment sourcing, due diligence, portfolio management and ongoing monitoring of investments.
He is a seasoned investment professional, having spent the last 20 years working as a portfolio manager for various firms such as hedge fund JMG Capital and Transamerica Investments.
During his career as a mutual/pension fund manager he won several awards such as top ten manager in the USA from Pensions and Investments, top ten manager in the US from Lipper as published in the Wall Street Journal and has been quoted in publications such as Business Week, Reuters News Wire, The Street.com, Brill’s Mutual Fund Interactive, and the NY Post.
Matthew earned a B.A.
in Social Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and an M.B.A.
from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.
