Mr. Matthew A.
DiFilippo, CFA, is Vice President & Chief Portfolio Strategist at Stewart Capital Advisors LLC.
He is the chairman the Investment Policy and Strategy Committee, guiding equity research and portfolio strategy decisions.
He focuses his research on healthcare and telecommunications, and he frequently contributes to research in technology.
He oversees portfolio team members as they develop their unique opinions on investing opportunities and seek to build portfolio strategies on the basis of return prospects and business quality.
As chair of the Investment Policy and Strategy Committee, he guides the work and decision-making that produces the Firm’s investment strategies.
Before joining Stewart Capital Advisors, Mr. DiFilippo was employed with Mellon Bond Associates, Mellon Financial and Scottsdale Securities.
He joined S&T Wealth Management in 2001 and was part of the original portfolio team that created Stewart Capital Advisors in 2005.
He earned his degree in business administration with a major in finance from Robert Morris University.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and he is a member of the CFA Institute and the Pittsburgh Society of Financial Analysts.
