After completing his studies in economics at University of Freiburg and his traineeship within the finance department of Bayer Plc, UK, Dr. Karsten Hövermann started his PhD thesis at Bayer AG in the controlling department.
Subsequently, in 1998 he started to work for KPMG in the audit department for industry and trade.
In 2004 he completed the CPA exam and was appointed manager within the corporate finance department.
In this function he was responsible for transaction and accounting related valuations as well as special audits according to securities and exchange law.
