Charlie McGill

Mr. Charlie McGill is Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Elevate Ventures, Inc. rom 1981 to 1992, Mr. McGill was employed by the McGill Manufacturing Company which was acquired by Emerson Electric in 1990.
During his tenure he served in sales, engineering, product development, business development and executive management capacities.
In 1992, Mr. McGill co-founded Machine Tool Specialists where he served as President until 2005.
He was recognized by the SBA and U.S.
Congress for the best small business person in the State of Indiana in 1997.
In 2005, Mr. McGill left the private sector to serve as the City of Valparaiso's Economic Development Director from 2005 through 2008.
Under Mr. McGill's direction, the City benefited from over $53 million in private investment.
He also developed a business plan and secured operating funding for a technology based incubation program.
In late 2008, Mr. McGill became the first Executive Director for the newly formed Entech Innovation Center, a technology based business incubator.
Mr. McGill received his B.S.
degree with concentrations in economics and finance from Valparaiso University in 1981.
