There is a saying in Botswana that goes kgetsi ya tsie e kgonwa ke go tshwaraganelwa, which means that a challenge is easily tackled when people work together. It's a message Kgalagadi Breweries Limited (KBL) has made its mission in combatting the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in the nation's most vulnerable communities.

In a recent ceremony with government officials, our colleagues proudly presented 24,000 liters of hand sanitizer to be distributed across the country and a 65,000 liter water bowser to easily deliver water to areas experiencing shortages, like Molepolole. They also printed 1,000 posters to share health and safety messages to further stop the spread of the virus, as well as a video encouraging the people of Botswana to stay home and follow prevention guidelines.

These initiatives are just a few examples of what our colleagues and partners are doing around the world with ingenuity, agility and true sense of ownership. See more about AB InBev's response to the pandemic here.

'We at KBL will always show up for Botswana.'
