PRAGUE, May 2 (Reuters) - The Czech central bank shaved 50 basis points off its main interest rate on Thursday, as expected, the fourth policy easing since December, bringing the two-week repo rate to 5.25% as inflation fell from double digits to the bank's target of 2%.

The cut brought total easing in this cycle to 175 basis points.
