KT&G : Sangsang Madang’s successful completion of the second cinema special event, Im Si-wan Exhibition

The second special cinema project operated by KT&G Sangsang Madang Hongdae, titled "Im Si-wan Exhibition," successfully concluded with the support of fans.

Running from May 2nd to 8th, the "Im Si-wan Exhibition" followed the first special project "Kim Nam-gil Exhibition" that took place this January at Sangsang Madang Cinema. The featured actor, Im Si-wan, received enthusiastic support from numerous fans throughout the year and consistently ranked high on the character rankings within the content community "Kinolights."

During the event, KT&G Sangsang Madang Cinema was decorated with photos, posters, and banners of Im Si-wan under the slogan "Siwan's imagination becomes reality." It also featured a special screening of the representative work "The Merciless", which celebrated its seventh anniversary. On May 4th, director Byun Sung-hyun of "The Merciless" and Im Si-wan attended a special Guest Visit (GV) event, where they shared various stories about the movie and interacted directly with fans.

Additionally, the venue hosted various events such as postcard and sticker giveaways for around 1,200 visitors, eliciting a warm response. Social media continued to buzz with reviews under the hashtag "#Siwan's_Imagination_Becomes_Reality."

Jona-young, the cinema manager of KT&G Sangsang Madang, commented, "The second cinema special project themed around an actor, Im Si-wan Exhibition, was conducted with the strong support of fans. Sangsang Madang plans to continue offering various programs to promote the development of the film industry."

KT&G Sangsang Madang is a multi-cultural art space that supports the creative activities of emerging artists and provides the public with a wide range of cultural experiences. Since launching "Sangsang Madang Hongdae" in 2007, it operates in five locations, including Nonsan, Chuncheon, Daechi, and Busan, contributing to the expansion of cultural arts and regional cultural development.
