CHENNAI/BENGALURU (Reuters) - Indian jeweler and watchmaker Titan reported fourth-quarter profit below estimates on Friday, as higher gold prices dampened demand for the precious metal during the country's wedding season.

The company reported a profit of 7.86 billion rupees ($94.2 million) in the quarter ended March 31, compared to analysts' expectation of 7.99 billion rupees as per LSEG data.
