VILNIUS, May 6 (Reuters) - Economic growth and inflation data from the euro zone are consistent with the European Central Bank's projections, supporting the case for interest rate cuts, Croatian central bank chief Boris Vujcic said in Vilnius on Monday.

Vujcic said that even if the ECB cuts rates in June, policy would continue to restrict economic growth. (Reporting by Balazs Koranyi Editing by Mark Potter)
